SupportWorks Housing has operated in Virginia since 1988. In that time the organization has developed one of the most effective and replicable approaches to ending homelessness in the country: Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH). The model is simple in principle and rigorous in practice — give people a stable home first, then surround them with the support they need to stay housed and rebuild their lives. It works.
